Taboos are looking for a small team of Live Music Promoters to join our growing team.
About Taboos
Taboos is a London-based live events brand connecting people through intimate live music experiences. We work with emerging artists and vibrant audiences to create memorable shows across London.
This role is ideal for someone who is plugged into the music scene and wants to gain real experience in the live music and events industry.
The Role
We’re looking for passionate Live Music Promoters who can help expand our shows by discovering artists, building line-ups and promoting events.
You’ll work remotely, co-curating your own shows while collaborating with the Taboos team who will manage venue relationships and event logistics.
This is a flexible opportunity to earn money doing what you love while working with artists, creatives and promoters in the live music industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and book exciting emerging artists for Taboos shows in London (Training & Resources Provided)
- Build relationships with artists, managers and industry contacts
- Help promote shows through social media, networks and creative marketing ideas
- Collaborate with the Taboos team on planning and event coordination
- Work on intimate shows in 80 – 500 capacity venues
Earnings
- Commission-based role
- Typical earnings £250 – £500+ per week depending on performance and ticket sales
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about live music and events promotion
- Experience in live music promotion, events, sales, marketing or PR is helpful but not essential
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A network of artists or creatives is a bonus
- Highly organised and self-motivated, able to work independently
- Based in London
