    As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Sales and Live Music Events Promoter to join our team.
     
    Job Description:
     
    We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Sales & Live Music Events Promoter to spearhead the promotion of our live music events.
     
    Someone who is organised, has an eye for detail, possess a passion for new music and trend spotting.
     
    You will be responsible for planning and executing promotional campaigns that drive ticket sales, increase event visibility, and ensure successful turnouts.
     
    The ideal candidate will be dynamic, driven, possess a deep love for music and have a knack for engaging audiences.
     
    The role is perfect for an undergraduate student or young professional. It would also suit a freelancer who has done a relevant course or previous role.
     
    This is a creative role that blends sales, marketing, and event management, perfect for someone passionate about live music and building strong client relationships.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
     
    •Develop and implement effective sales and event marketing strategies to promote our live music events and drive ticket sales across various platforms (social media, email, partnerships, direct outreach, etc.).
     
    •Develop new event ideas and bring them to life.
     
    •Identify and target great emerging artists to book for events, particularly those from the independent music scene.
     
    •Be aware of market trends and competitive elements within the industry.
     
    •Liaise with artist agents and managers to find and develop artists for the company.
     
    •Network, build and maintain relationships with artists, venues, promoters, agents, event producers, media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders in the music industry.
     
    •Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience, driving interest and excitement around upcoming events.
     
    •Identify new opportunities to grow event attendance and expand our audience base.
     
    •Monitor ticket sales and adjust promotional strategies to maximize attendance.
     
    •Event Coordination. Help ensure seamless event execution from start to finish.
     
    •Analytics. Track and report on the performance of promotional campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.
     
    •Track and report on sales performance and event success metrics.
     
    •Assist in managing on-site event logistics to ensure smooth execution.
     
     
    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Experience in event promotion, particularly in the music or entertainment industry. (Preferable but not essential). 
     
    • Strong understanding of marketing and promotional strategies, excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, interpersonal skills, and a solid grasp of social media and digital marketing.
     
    • Strong network within the music and entertainment industry. (Preferable but not essential). 
     
    • A genuine love for live music and events, with a commitment to delivering top-notch events.
     
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as required by event schedules.
     
    • Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, leadership skills, belief and the ability to bounce back from setbacks are essential.
     
    • Experience in sales, marketing, or promotions.
     
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets, while using creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
     
    • Knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), and digital marketing strategies especially used at a professional level.
     
    • Knowledge of the live music scene / new music across London and the UK
     
    • Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office & Excel.
     
    • Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to create and manage budgets
     
    • Professional manner in dealing with all clients, partners and customers.
     
    • An intelligent and committed approach to work and great attention to detail with an ability to prioritise workload.
     
    • Reliable and trustworthy with a naturally helpful, outgoing and approachable personality.
